VIP Sportstravel as exclusive travel partner of the IWGA
As exclusive travel partner of the IWGA, VIP Sportstravel organised and coordinated a complete service offer as well as all pre- and post-travel arrangements that were not part of the official IWGA/WOC agreements (as stipulated in the International Federation Passport). VIP Sportstravel created and implemented customised travel packages for a total of 300 people (athletes, delegates, associations, media, friends, families and fans).
The International World Games Association (IWGA) is an international non-governmental and non-profit organisation under Swiss law. Composed of international sports federations, the IWGA manages the four-year multidisciplinary sports event “The World Games” aimed at developing the awareness of sport, improving it through excellent sporting achievements and preserving the traditional values of the sport through the World Games.
As the exclusive travel partner of the IWGA, VIP Sportstravel was commissioned to organise and implement all travel requirements that go beyond the services of the IF passport for athletes, international associations, the National Olympic Committees and media, as well as for all friends and families. VIP Sportstravel was to implement the travel management for 300 guests including international flights, accommodation, transfers and translators, thus ensuring the unforgettable experience of a multi-sport event with suitable travel solutions.
The scope of the services included the purchase, coordination and bookkeeping of all tourist arrangements on site (local transfer, international flight bookings, translators, drivers, restaurants) as well as the handling of last minute requests (e.g. transfers, changes of persons).

BMW GUEST programme BERMUDA 2017
Implementation of the BMW Hospitality Programme for the America’s Cup 2017™
As part of the Lagardère Sports Group, VIP Sportstravel and akzio! took over the entire on-site brand activation and guest programme for the German car manufacturer BMW as part of the America’s Cup 2017. VIP Sportstravel developed 7 different 4-day hospitality programmes for the 250 invited guests, focusing on guaranteeing the programme and service for one of the world’s leading providers of luxury cars on a five-star level.
BMW, founded in 1916, is a German luxury manufacturer of sport cars, motorcycles and engines. BMW is also one of the world’s most profitable luxury car manufacturers. As official partner of the America’s Cup and technology partner of the ORACLE TEAM USA, BMW Yacht Sport, a unit of BMW sports, VIP Sportstravel and akzio! were commissioned to take over the entire on-site activation and marketing of the brand.
VIP Sportstravel has been commissioned to organise and implement an exclusive and customised, high-class hospitality programme for a total of 7 guest groups, from the official opening ceremony to the end of the event, creating an unforgettable experience.
The biggest challenges came from the Bermuda venue: a small country with limited supply, high prices and changeable weather made it difficult to recruit qualified staff, coordinate arrival times and manage the stay and transfers to the respective event locations.
The range of services included the on-site coordination of all logistical arrangements and activities on site (accommodation, restaurants and other activities), the briefing and coordination of the entire local staff (hostesses, drivers, hotel staff), transfers to the airport, hotels, activities, restaurants and to the venue (over land and over water) as well as the implementation of last minute requests (e.g. transfer and schedule changes).

EPSON IN THE F1
Implementation of the EPSON Hospitality Programme for the FIA Formula 1® 2016
The FIA Formula One World Championship® is the highest-ranking Formula racing series organised by the FIA. In the 2016 season, VIP Sportstravel supported the official team sponsor Epson as a hospitality partner at 12 races in Europe, Australia, USA and Asia.
The Epson Group is part of the Japanese Seiko Epson Corporation. As one of the world’s most innovative companies, Epson aims to exceed customer expectations with a wide range of solutions in the field of printing, visual communication, quality of life and manufacturing.
The product range is based on compact, energy-saving and high-precision Epson technologies and ranges from inkjet printers, printing systems and 3LCD projectors to industrial robots, smart glasses and sensor solutions.
VIP Sportstravel was commissioned by Epson to organize the global Hospitality programme in the course of the 2016 FIA Formula One World championship. In each race, between 24 and over 150 invited guests, sales partners and media representatives – in each of 2 to 3 different waves of guests with partially overlapping arrivals and departures – received exclusive insights into the work of the F1 teams. Different programmes running at the same time (Paddock Club, B2B, Grandstand and Media) and cultural differences in cooperation with each local market worldwide are to be mentioned as challenges.
VIP Sportstravel realised a customised hospitality programme for over 700 invited guests, sales partners and media representatives – over 400 invited guests were part of the Paddock Club programme and over 300 guests were part of the Grandstands. These were provided with 360° hospitality services at every race, including accommodation, restaurants, transfers, gifts and activities at the racetracks – a unique VIP experience for all Epson guests! In the course of the implementation of the guest programme, VIP Sportstravel also implemented and managed an online ticket and guest management system with individual market profiles for all hospitality programmes (Paddock Club & Grandstand) while maintaining Epson’s corporate identity.

THE VOLKSWAGEN CUP TOUR 2014
The Volkswagen Hospitality Programme for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
VIP Sportstravel was responsible for the hospitality travel programme for Volkswagen AG during the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. 500 national and international guests (including VIP guests, trade partners, journalists and supporters) were invited exclusively by Volkswagen AG and Volkswagen do Brasil Ltda.
Volkswagen is the largest European automotive manufacturer and employs more than 626,000 employees worldwide. VW AG is the parent company of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand and its subsidiaries, Seat, Škoda Auto and Audi as well as the luxury brands Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati (motorcycles), Lamborghini and Porsche. The hospitality programme “Volkswagen Cup Tour 2014” was initiated and commissioned by the company headquarters in Wolfsburg.
VIP Sportstravel was commissioned by Volkswagen AG to design, organise and implement the official hospitality programme for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. The contract also included the development of an online platform with information about the hospitality programme and guest data, development and implementation of a brand story around the event with restrained activation and brand presence as well as conception of a customised programme for each arriving market.
500 VIP Guests from 15 countries were offered an exclusive hospitality programme in Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Brasília, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. The range of services included the purchase and coordination of tourist activities (hotels, restaurants, sightseeing), flights and local transfers as well as the organisation and implementation of supporting programmes and side events (restaurants, activities). Furthermore, VIP Sportstravel was responsible for on-site staff management and brand activation throughout the entire trip in all guest areas. The panoramic helicopter flights over Rio de Janeiro were just one of the many highlights and left a great smile on the faces of the guests.

Bitburger Hospitality Programme for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
As part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ VIP Sportstravel supervised the hospitality travel programme for the Bitburger Brewery Group. 200 winners of a Germany-wide buyer promotion and 80 business partners experienced unforgettable Bitburger moments during their stay, which they will certainly remember for a long time.
Bitburger Braugruppe GmbH is one of the largest breweries in Germany with more than 1,000 employees in its group of companies. Bitburger is the official sponsor of the German Football Association DFB and, in cooperation with the airline Air Berlin, organised its annual “Fan Force One” for a selected match of the German national team.
Bitburger, a partner of the German Football Federation for 20 years, has contracted VIP Sportstravel to develop and implement a 360° hospitality programme for their Fan Force One campaign on the occasion of the football World Cup in 2014. Here, the biggest challenges were the particular safety and health precautions and cultural differences in the understanding of quality standards and service ideas between the German customer and the South American service providers.
As part of the project, VIP Sportstravel initiated the exclusive cooperation of Bitburger with Air Berlin, which transformed an aircraft of its fleet into an individually branded supporter´s plane. 270 guests were able to support the German national team on their way to World Cup victory in the preliminary round game in Fortaleza and were provided with exclusive travel and hospitality services, including all transfers, accommodation and restaurant bookings as well as activities. In addition, VIP Sportstravel was also responsible for the creation of branded marketing material in accordance with the guidelines of the Bitburger corporate design as well as the brand activation during the entire trip in all guest areas.

Implementation of the Orange Hospitality Programme for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2013™
As part of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2013™ in South Africa, VIP Sportstravel supervised the official hospitality programme of the title sponsor Orange in all 5 venue locations (Johannesburg, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Durban and Port Elizabeth).
Orange S.A. is an international telecommunications company and is today part of the French company France-Telecom. With approximately 170,000 employees, the company supplied 230.7 million customers worldwide in 2012. Orange has been a title sponsor of the Africa Cup of Nations™ with offices in 18 African countries since 2009.
VIP Sportstravel was commissioned by Orange to design, organise and implement the official hospitality programme for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2013™. In addition to the organisation and handling of classic travel services, the requirements also included staff management and the activation of the “Football changes with Orange” brand promise.
500 exclusive guests from 12 different African markets and cultures experienced unforgettable Orange moments during their stay, which they will surely remember for a long time.
The range of services included the organisation and implementation of supporting programmes and side events, personnel management (hostesses, tour guides, venue managers, drivers) as well as the production of VIP gifts, bus branding and other branding articles (welcome desk, welcome signs, roll-ups, etc.) in Orange’s corporate design.
